Moth Holiday

Quiet, small, unassuming (other than the hair… and the clothes…), that’s the Moth you’d pass on the street. Personable and smart (if not just a chronic overthinker), that’s the Moth their friends know. Friends they know through stumbling upon The Hotel in their time of distress. Friends that they work with, freelancing, hunting Anomalies.

The Incident in their family justified their existing anxiety, made it worse, and now they’d rather be like a quiet, soft breeze and flow around trouble, and avoid even the mundane things they don’t like. But that doesn’t pay the bills. Carefully picking company and friends now, and rarely exiting the safety of their circle. It’s better that way. Well, except for when they have to actually confront things with violence out of necessity. They’d rather not, but they are skilled at causing harm.
It’s uncomfortable.
They do it anyway. That pays the bills.
That’s life.

Relations

The Hotel: Lives at The Hotel. Helps out with the front desk and occasional excursions through the ever changing and seemingly endless floors of The Hotel.

Good friends with Citri, Val and Kippy.

Has asked Leo for help fixing their car and considers him a decent friend in general.
Outside of this circle… they don’t really have a lot of friends.

A reference sheet for the character Moth, a short, dark skinned person with puffy, lavender hair with antennae.
They wear white goggles with magenta lenses and a yellow scarf that shifts into peachy-orange color at the end of the tails which resemble moth wings.
The scarf is above an oversized maroon cardigan over a yellow shirt with black stripes, tucked into black bell bottom pants that are trimmed with orange
and maroon platform shoes with black heels.

In a rough, monochrome sketch, Moth is taking a picture, holding their phone up to Jay, a short man with shaved horns and messy hair, wearing a big coat and a bandana. He's leaning against a barrel, resting his arm on it by his elbow, with his other hand in his pocket.

In an orange, autumn forest, Jay is on one knee after digging a hole. Behind him is Moth, metal detector in hand. The two smile at each other over their new discovery from metal detecting!
